Weed Department
The Jefferson County Weed District’s purpose is to educate and assist the public with proper identification and management of noxious weeds. The district is responsible for administering the Montana Local County Weed Control ACT. Our goal is to restore Montana’s habitat to its native state through integrative weed management protocols.

Weed Board
The weed board meets on the second Thursday of the month at 6:00 pm at the Jefferson County Central Shop Building, 111 Odyssey Lane, Boulder, Montana. The members are Cory Fitzgerald, Bill Gillespie, and Steve Laster.
