Commissioners (County Commission) determined the creation of a Board of Parks, Trails, and Recreation Commissioners would benefit the citizens of Jefferson County. The Board was created in December of 2017 to serve as an advisory\/working board to the County Commission and to the Jefferson County Planning Board on matters related to park areas, trails, and recreation within Jefferson County. The Board consists of seven members that serve staggered, three year terms.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p><\/p><center><a
